LOS ROBLES (The Oaks) is the name of our elegant home and Center for Hospitality and Wholeness in the historic Thomas Square/Victorian district of beautiful downtown Savannah, Georgia.  Los Robles, in addition to housing the Spa, is a Center for Hospitality offering overnight and short term stay.  Los Robles also hosts cultural gatherings, events, workshops and retreats. Before relocating to Savannah from New York City, your hosts, Richard and Robin visioned creating a Center for many activities and services and a safe place that supported diversity of thought and kind.  Los Robles is a wonderful and spacious residence that answered our vision.  Today the Spa is in place on Los Robles’ first floor and growing its services. Richard is the Manager of the Spa and its services as well as the sole Massage Therapist at this time.  Richard has been providing massage to others for over 14 years.  In 2006 Richard earned his Massage Therapy Certification from the Savannah School of Massage Therapy (www.ssomt.com) and was licensed as a Massage Therapist in July, 2007 when the State of Georgia initiated licensing of Massage Therapists.  Richard is a certified practitioner of Bamboo-Fusion Massage and has also trained in Body Electric and MansomaMassage.  He has also studied at San Francisco’s Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Sexuality.   Richard’s massage therapy focus is on stress and tension relief through Full Body Swedish Massage with some Deep Tissue.  He has training in Swedish, Deep Tissue and Neuromuscular.
